Copaco acquires BuyBay operations and strengthens circular IT and e-commerce chain.
Copaco is continuing the activities of BuyBay B.V. With the acquisition of the Dutch specialist in returns processing and overstock, Copaco gives products a second life and strengthens its societal contribution to a more sustainable chain.
Copaco N.V. announces today that it is acquiring the activities of BuyBay B.V. Founded in 2014, BuyBay specializes in the sustainable processing, resale preparation, and resale of returns and overstock from webshops, retailers, distributors, and manufacturers.
With this acquisition, Copaco aims to continue and further develop the accumulated expertise and services within its existing organization. The activities align closely with Copaco’s ambitions regarding sustainability, circularity, and logistics services.
BuyBay has developed a specialized approach in which products are inspected, tested, cleaned, and resold. As a result, products retain their economic value and waste in the supply chain is reduced.
